The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes
Breathing new life into a classic (or twelve)

Tasked with finding and redesigning the covers of 3 books, my mind immediately turned to Arthur Conan Doyle’s iconic series of short stories. And I thought, “Why not do all 12?”. Well, the answer to that question is that to do so would be insane. But here we are.
This project was a lot of fun, seeing me move away from my usual style. The design challenge really lay in taking the plot of each book and distilling it into a single illustration; I took inspiration from the way that editorial illustrators are able to convey multiple concepts simultaneously, while also infusing a touch of humour.
